October 5 ..... Awards Ceremony - POSTPONED

*Due to the current job action initiated by members of the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation, the THSS Awards Ceremony for last year's award winners scheduled for Oct. 5, have been cancelled.   Students will receive their awards at a later date through a special celebration.

October 10... Thanksgiving (no classes)

October 18 .....Photo Retake Day

October 21.... . District Wide Pro-D Day (no classes)

November 1 . ... Parent/Teacher Conferences POSTPONED (regular scheduled classes)

* Due to the current job action initiated by members of the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation, the Student Led Conferences  scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1 have been cancelled and may be rescheduled at a later date. The school day for all students at Thomas Haney on Nov. 1, 2011 will be a full day with school start at 8:30 and dismissal at 2:40. Parents are advised that you are welcome to individually contact your child’s teacher at any time should you wish to have discussion on matters relating to your child.
